What is the ParaPro Assessment?
The ParaPro Assessment is for prospective and practicing paraprofessionals. It measures skills and knowledge in reading, math and writing and the ability to apply those skills and knowledge to assist in classroom instruction.
Is there study guide for ParaPro Assessment?
A study guide for the ParaPro Assessment is available at the District Office. Please contact Erika Mendoza at (928) 373-3400 to reserve a study guide. There is a $40.00 refundable deposit which is required at the time of checking out the study guide and they are checked out on a first come first serve basis.
What is the Format and Length of the Test?
This 2½ hour test contains 90 multiple-choice questions in reading, writing and math. Approximately two-thirds of the questions focus on basic skills and knowledge and the remaining one-third focuses on applying those skills and knowledge in a classroom setting.
How Can I Take the Test?
You will need to complete and submit an application prior to taking the test. You can submit an application at www.craneschools.org or click here.
The internet-based test is given at the Crane District Office. Contact Griselda Avila at (928) 373-3400 to schedule an appointment.
