Emergency Teacher Certification (ETC) Teacher in Residence Program (TIR)

 
Crane Elementary School District will consider candidates interested in teaching in the following areas for the ETC or TIR Program:
 
  • Special Education
  • Math, 7-12 grade
  • Science, 7-12 grade
  • English, 7-12 grade
  • Early Childhood
  • Elementary Education
 
Emergency Teacher Fast Facts
 
  • Candidate must hold a BA or BS degree
  • Candidate must be willing to participate in a TIR or Master's program by year two of the issuance of his/her ETC
  • Candidate must hold a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
 
Teacher Intern Fast Facts
 
  • All TIR programs are designed to take two (2) years to complete
        -  During the two (2) years candidate will be a full time teacher and a full time student
  • Crane partners with Rio Salado College, Grand Canyon University and other state approved Alternate Certification providers
  • Candidate must hold a BA or BS degree
  • Candidate must hold a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Candidate must make contact with one of the Crane's partner college/universities to begin the enrollment process
