Dear Crane School District Families,
We hope this message finds you well as we begin another successful school year together.
In an effort to simplify our transportation process and remove unnecessary hurdles for students and families, we are discontinuing the use of Bus ID Cards effective immediately. Our goal is to make transportation as smooth, safe, and barrier-free as possible for everyone.
Please rest assured that our commitment to student safety and accountability remains unchanged. We are simply shifting away from the Bus ID system to better serve our students and streamline daily transportation routines.
Refunds for the 2025–2026 School Year:
If you purchased a new Bus ID Card for the current 2025–2026 school year, you will receive a refund. A check will be made out to the parent and will be mailed to the address we have on file.

Estimadas familias del Distrito Escolar Crane:
Esperamos que este mensaje lo encuentre bien mientras comenzamos otro año escolar exitoso juntos.
Para simplificar nuestro proceso de transporte y eliminar obstáculos innecesarios para estudiantes y familias, descontinuaremos el uso de tarjetas de identificación de autobús con efecto inmediato. Nuestro objetivo es que el transporte sea lo más fluido, seguro y sin barreras posible para todos.
Tenga la seguridad de que nuestro compromiso con la seguridad y la responsabilidad estudiantil se mantiene intacto. Simplemente estamos eliminando el sistema de identificación de autobús para brindar un mejor servicio a nuestros estudiantes y optimizar las rutinas diarias de transporte.
Reembolsos para el año escolar 2025-2026:
Si compró una nueva tarjeta de identificación de autobús para el año escolar 2025-2026, recibirá un reembolso. Se extenderá un cheque a nombre del padre/tutor y se enviará por correo a la dirección que tenemos registrada.
