Crane Schools have a rich history in Yuma. We have been meeting the needs and growing with our community for over a century. Crane has 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools and a STEM charter school. Our schools offer a wide variety of programs, curriculum and technology to meet the needs of our diverse community.

Congratulations to Gowan Science 4th grader Rocco M. for winning Best Elementary Project and 1st place in the Physics category at the Yuma County Science Fair! Great Job Rocco!



Way to go Valley Horizon's Isabel Santa Cruz! Mrs. Santa Cruz has been accepted to attend the Energizing Elementary Education- From Root to STEM summer institute. Her acceptance is a highly coveted position, where she will participate with others gaining research and field experience. Great Job Mrs. Santa Cruz.



Congratulations to Mesquite's Robert Bain! Mr. Bain won the category of Outstanding First Year Teacher of the Year at the Yuma County Teacher Banquet



Congratulations to Gowan Science Academy teacher Andi Martinez for receiving $4400.00 in grant funds for the CenturyLink/AzTEA Innovation in Classroom Technology Integration Grant. The money will be used to fund her program Fit to be Published @Gowan Science Academy.

Congratulations to Esther L and Kaylee K of Centennial MS for both winning $350 scholarships to attend NAU Summer Music Camp!

Congratulations to Alex T. from Crane Middle for winning the Ernie Ortega Music Scholarship! This is a full scholarship to be able to attend the NAU summer music camp.

Congratulations to RV students for winning prizes for their science projects at the Southern Arizona Research, Science, and Engineering Fair in Tucson:

Daisy A. and Natalie W. who won the Young Aspiring Engineers Award.

Alexis S. and Jessica Z. who won 3rd place in 6th grade chemistry areas.

Genesis P. and Lluvia V. who won 3rd place in 6th grade physics.

Serena F. and McKenna J. won 1st place in 6th grade behavioral science and were nominated to attend the Broadcom MASTERS. If chosen, the students will attend a science competition in Washington D.C.
