Summer school will start June 1 Monday through Friday and continue through July 24th with no school on July 2 - July 3. Students will have at least a daily 45 minute Zoom Meeting with approximately another 2 hours of seat time with their district issued iPAD. 
 
Frequently Asked Questions
Q:  Do students have to attend all 8 weeks of summer school?
A:  No. They can attend for just a few weeks, but please inform us of your plans. 
 
Q:  What type of technology will my child need in order to participate in summer school?
A:  A student may use their own iPad or may use a district-issued device, if needed. 
 
Q:  What classes will my child be offered?
A: All students who register for Summer School will have a foreign language class as well as reading and math courses.  
 
Q: Must my child be enrolled in Crane School District to participate in the Summer School Program?
A: We are accepting students from out of district for the program. Parents must complete an iLearning Enrollment Form. Click Here
 
Q:  I have registered my student. How will I know if they've secured a spot in the program?
A: If you've registered online, your student is automatically enrolled to participate in the program. 
 
Q: What will the daily schedule be like? Will times for instruction vary?
A:  Zoom classes and meetings will take place at consistent times throughout the summer program.  
 
 
In response to the COVID-19 health crisis, the curriculum and instruction staff of Crane Elementary School District has developed a remote learning plan so our students can continue learning experiences while our school buildings are closed. As we navigate this new learning format, this site offers supplemental and instructional resources for students and teachers.  We appreciate your patience and flexibility during this fluid time.
