2015-2016 SCHOOL YEAR!

Dear Parents:

The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) extends a warm welcome to those of you new to Mesquite Elementary School and a welcome back to all returning for the 2015/2016 school year. As parents of a Mesquite student, your PTO membership makes a positive impact at the school.

Mesquite Elementary PTO funds and sponsors events, activities, and improvement to our school through various fundraisers, like the Anti-Bullying Campaign and new PBIS Initiative, The Fall Festival, Spring Sock Hop, supporting our Physical Education Department through Box Tops for Education, and other endeavors throughout the year.

To support these programs, we need YOUR help! Working together, we can make a difference at Mesquite and in the lives of our children.

Ways You Can Help
  • Review the activities/committees and share your time and talents. We would love to have you involved! Contact the chairperson or any board member for more information on any activity or committee.
  • Join the PTO! Dues are $10/Personal membership or $100.00/business membership. We strive for 100% participation.
  • Complete the volunteer registration forms that are available to print online or available in the front office.
  • Attend PTO meetings and stay informed of events through school emails and correspondence.
  • Support PTO sponsored fundraisers and activities.
Your involvement with Mesquite Elementary PTO benefits everyone at our school. Possibly your greatest reward will be seeing the smile on your child's face when you are involved in his/her school. Please join us in making this a successful year!
