The Yuma Area Benefits Consortium (YABC) is an innovative partnership between Arizona Western College, Yuma Elementary School District No. 1, Crane Elementary School District No. 13, and the City of Yuma which is designed to provide competitive benefits to each employee group while at the same time effectively managing resources.

Mail Order Prescriptions

Participants may set up a CatamaranRx website personal account with their own password. The website allows participants to view their claims, print temporary ID cards, research medications and refill mail order prescriptions. To set up your own personal account, visit https://www.mycatamaranrx.com. If you have any problems, please email Human Resources or telephone 928-373-3420.

Employee Assistance Program
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential, employer-offered program that helps employees and their families balance the demands of work, life and personal issues. EAP can assist with topics such as:

Your employee assistance program is provided through AETNA. This benefit entitles you to up to ten free counseling sessions per year for you and each eligible dependent living in your household. The service is completely confidential and may be used for any counseling needs you or your family may have. You have unlimited, toll-free access to EAP dedicated staff, 24 hours per day.

Vision
All YABC medical plan participants are eligible for the Vision Plan. Your vision coverage is provided through a company called Vision Service Plan or VSP.

Dental
Most, but not all, dental services and supplies that are provided by a dental care provider and are determined by the Plan administrator or its designee to be “medically necessary” are covered. Refer to the Plan Document for details.
Usually, you will have to satisfy a deductible and pay some coinsurance toward the amounts you incur that are eligible dental expenses.
