TITLE: English Language Learners’ Interventionist
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Teaching or other related field required.
2. Bilingual
3. AZ DPS valid Class I fingerprint clearance card.
4. Three years working in sheltered English immersion environment.
5. Ability to communicate effectively with district and building level teachers and administrators.

Building Principal/Teacher of Record
JOB GOAL:
To provide intervention support to staff and students to develop and implement education programs promoting language acquisition in order for all students to achieve the academic standards.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assess and diagnose new students for determining need for intensive language development programs.
2. Maintain records and data on all ELL students in the respective school and report information in a timely and accurate manner to proper officials.
3. Monitor ELL students’ progress through appropriate testing, assessments and data disaggregation.
4. Assist with the development and implementation of education programs that provide intensive language development for ELL students.
5. Assist with the development of flexible and creative individualized program curriculums.
6. Perform other related duties as required by supervisor.
