TITLE:          Compensatory Education Coordinator

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.         Must be a certificated staff member of the Crane Elementary School District.

REPORTS TO:

Federal Programs Director

JOB GOAL:

To provide pre and post testing, monitor attendance, coordinate transportation, liaison with the building administrator, support instruction and collect and manage data for the LEP program.  The additional instructional program will be consistent and continuing educational support programs outside the instructional day for Limited English Proficient students.  Program will be held for 18 weeks, three hours per week and eight hours over the fall and spring intersession.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.         Create and administer a pre and post testing program to measure the growth of LEP students before, during and after the 18 week program.

2.         To coordinate the transportation for the program.

3.         To act as liaison between the building administrator, program teachers and Federal Programs Director.

4.         To support the program instruction, utilizing a variety of curriculum resources.

5.         Responsible for collection and management of all program data.

5.         Performs other related duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

School year.  Stipend amount as established by the Board.

EVALUATION:

Performance of this job will be evaluated by the Federal Programs Director.
