Emergency Communication

Crane Schools is committed to providing students, staff, parents, and the media accurate and timely information in the event of an emergency. Emergency communication mitigates negative impacts in the community and encourages complete, objective media coverage.

The Emergency Plan viewable on this website is an abbreviated version, suitable for the public.

The Communications Division will establish, coordinate, and direct all external communications and release of information to the media in coordination with the Superintendent’s office through the dissemination of media statements, press releases, and/or media conferences. Crane maintains a close working relationship with all first-responders including:

  • Border Patrol
  • Law enforcement
  • Paramedics
  • Fire districts
  • Community relations personnel
