Mrs. Vicki Peterson

Mrs. Vicki Peterson

GAP science teacher

Mrs. Vicki Peterson
Hello. I am Mrs. Vicki Peterson, sixth grade homeroom teacher and fifth and sixth grade science teacher for the Gowan Achievement Program. I am looking forward to my tenth year in this teaching position that I love! It is my dream job: to teach science all day to students who are eager to learn and have parents who support their education. What more could I ask for? The added support of the Gowan Company enables me to do my job to a higher level, and makes it even more exciting and fun!

I am originally from La Crosse, Wisconsin. I moved here in 1994 to teach sixth grade at Rancho Viejo and have been here ever since. I am married and have two children. My son is an adult and lives in the Phoenix area. My daughter recently graduated from high school. She was a GAP student at RV and Centennial, so I appreciate our program from the perspective of a parent as well as a teacher.

I love sports, nature, going to the movies, baking, and love to travel and spend time with family and friends. I also love teaching, especially science and engineering, which is why I enjoy my job so much!
Please feel free to contact me by email, note, or phone if you have questions or concerns throughout the year.
