The Yuma Area Benefits Consortium (YABC) is an innovative partnership between Arizona Western College, Yuma Elementary School District No. 1, Crane Elementary School District No. 13, and the City of Yuma which is designed to provide competitive benefits to each employee group while at the same time effectively managing resources.

Participants may set up a Magellan Rx website personal account with their own password. The website allows participants to review prescription benefits, manage your prescription benefit and refill mail order prescriptions. To set up your own personal account, visit Magellanrx.com

Employee Assistance Program
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential, employer-offered program that helps employees and their families balance the demands of work, life and personal issues. EAP can assist with topics such as:

- Substance abuse

- Personal and family issues
Balancing the demands of work, home and life can lead to improved productivity, increased employee satisfaction and better managed health costs.
Your employee assistance program is provided through EAP Preferred. This benefit entitles you to up to twelve free counseling sessions per year for you and each eligible dependent living in your household. The service is completely confidential and may be used for any counseling needs you or your family may have. You have unlimited, toll-free access to EAP dedicated staff, 24 hours per day.

All YABC medical plan participants are covered under the group Vision Plan. Your vision coverage is provided through a company called Vision Service Plan or VSP.

(you must call VSP at 800-877-7195 and received your unique ID to register for an online account).
Most, but not all, dental services and supplies that are provided by a dental care provider and are determined by the Plan administrator or its designee to be “medically necessary” are covered. Refer to the Plan Document for details.
Usually, you will have to satisfy a deductible and pay some coinsurance toward the amounts you incur that are eligible dental expenses.
