Immunizations:

The Yuma County Health Department offers immunization clinics without appointments. The Department is located at 2200 W 28th Street in Yuma, AZ and clinics are held Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please take original immunization records with you. Call them at 317-4559 if you have any questions.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS OF CURRENT 5TH GRADE STUDENTS:

Please be aware that current 5th grade students entering the 6th grade next year will be required to have one dose of Tdap vaccine and one dose of Meningococcal vaccine.

Reminders

  • Students are not allowed to carry any medication with them in school. Parents must bring medications to the Health Office and sign a permission form for their use during school hours.
  • Please do not send your child to school if he/she has a high fever, is vomiting or has diarrhea. Students need to be free of these symptoms for 24 hours before returning to school.
